Workshop to develop a new draft framework law on health in DRC Wednesday 25th August 2010
The development of the draft framework law on health in the Democratic Republic of Congo is being reviewed in a workshop of national consensus and validation of this text which opened Monday in Kinshasa for technicians in the health and decentralization of the territory.
The Minister of Health, Victor Makwenge Kaput, who opened the proceedings of this workshop, alluded in his word for the occasion, the Constitution, citing successively Articles 123, 47 and 202, which each take back some passages certain laws relating to health. The preliminary bill replaces that of 1999 from the States-General of Health presented at that time for adoption at the ex-Constituent and Legislative Assembly - Parliament of Transition (ACL - PT), but was sent back to 2001 for a second reading. The process on the latter text had failed. The workshop take an end on Wednesday.
