The Creation of Employement
Working ensures the independence of the Congolese nation.
Because of the limited number of companies operational in Democratic Republic of Congo, it is not easy to find employment, whatever its qualification. The number of employees listed in the formal economy was of 663.089 in 2006, that is to say 2,4% of the potential active population. The public administration records 41% of the workers, the private sector 44% and the armed forces 15%.
While the Universities and Institutes of higher learning grant diplomas to thousands of people each year, the labor market is getting small. From where the impressive number of unemployed which the country knows.

It is this situation which the Head of the State wants to reverse, by creating favorable conditions with the generation of employment for all.
For the Head of the State, job creation is priority in order to reabsorb the galloping unemployment which will pass primarily by the activities of agriculture, industries, tourism and other services.
To arrive there, the government boosts: agricultural promotion .The ideal for the government in the sector of agriculture is to ensure the food safety of Congolese and to contribute to the reduction of poverty. Industrial promotion by the installation of new production facilities of transformation as well as the reinforcement of the existing capacities which are productive of thousands of employment.
Tourist promotion taking into consideration tourist potentialities of the Democratic Republic of Congo indicated higher, it is necessary to be convinced that responsible management and promotion for the sector of tourism are by nature to ensure the socio-economic wellbeing of the Congolese populations, to drain investments in this sector and to generate important resources which the State needs to cover the public expenditure.
Tourism has to contribute largely to the durable development of the country, by the creation of many jobs, as well direct through the lodging, the cooking, the transport and other services used directly by the tourists as indirect (production of the goods and services intended for the suppliers of the touristic services). For the head of state the work site of employment is priority because he estimates that creating jobs improves the living conditions of Congolese populations.
