The construction of luxury buildings in Kinshasa is part of the five work sites’ program initiated by the President of the Republic, Joseph Kabila Kabange.

The excavation work for building a multipurpose building and a hotel in the central station in Kinshasa as well as construction of apartments and a conference center at the Palace of Justice in Kinshasa, are already begun, said Mr. Frumence Muhigiri, technical director of Rakeen Congo Company.

The erection of these buildings is motivated by the organization in the DRC events related to the summit of the French speaking countries Organization and that of the next World Cup in South Africa in 2010.

To achieve this, Rakeen Congo Company began excavation work at the central station and at the Palace of Justice, before proceeding to drilling for the construction of stakes which. This will allow the strength of buildings and building the first level at the central station, while at the Palace of Justice square, the work requires the use of DHRUL which is a very important drilling machine to reach the rock, a bed necessary to the rigidity of the foundation.

The Rakeen technical director reassures the population about the end of this work in the period, in order to provide the Congolese capital modern housing infrastructure like other capitals of the world.
