Five work sites: President Joseph Kabila visited the rehabilitation work on Kanyamuhanga Boulevard in Goma.

Staying in North Kivu province, the President of the Republic took advantage of the working visit to ascertain the asphalting site of the boulevard Kanyamuhanga, located in the heart of the city.

Cheering and applauding by people of North Kivu, the Head of State got out of his jeep to check the progress of asphalting work of the boulevard, work started on financing from the provincial government and executed by a Ugandan construction company.

A handshake from the Head of State to the North Kivu governor and the provincial minister of public works as a sign of encouragement and gratitude for their contributions to the materialization of 5 work sites ended this visit.

At the same time, the provincial authority took the opportunity to inform the head of state about his willingness to bring 2,000 people starting rehabilitation work on the international airport of Goma.
