 Kinshasa-Bandundu: Lufimi-Kwango Road under rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation work of Lufimi-Kwango Road, 57, 5 km long, generated over 2,500 jobs.
Funded by the European Union to the tune of Usd 60 million, the work is performed by SOGEA SATOM, for a period of 24 months.
As a reminder, the kick-off of this work was given by the President, Joseph Kabila surrounded by government members and officials of the European Commission in the DRC on last Thursday May 2 in Mbakana.
The work consists of enlarging, compacting and asphalting the road section as well as building a water canalization system.
This road is very importance because it will facilitate the supply of the Congolese capital on essential products staples and to open up the hinterland.
