DCI: You are the head of BNTED of Cote d’Ivoire, can you tell us more about your structure?

ADM: The BNTED was founded in 1978. Since 1994, the BNTED has become a society of State and a privileged instrument of the government in consulting and the management of major investment projects. The vocation of BNTED is therefore to provide a central support in programming and choice of public investments, ensure the study, management, technical and financial control and the implementation of investment projects.

DCI: What are the actions that BNTD has already conducted and in which country apart Côte d'Ivoire where the BNTED is working?

ADM :
Within 30 years, the BNTED has got a long and rich experience in providing design, study and the survey of construction of more than 4000 km of tarred road network in Cote d’Ivoire and many public buildings including Yamoussoukro Basilica, administrative towers in Abidjan and the house of deputies in Yamoussoukro.
At the international level and within the framework of South-South cooperation, today we share our experience with other African countries, especially Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Republic of Congo, Senegal and Togo. In all these countries we have implemented our structures.

DCI: You have just met with President Joseph KABILA; what did you talk with him?

ADM :
With President Kabila, we talked about South-South cooperation. Today Africa must gather its forces and energies because each country must bring to another what it has for a better development in Africa.
Thus, the BNTED contributed to the development of Cote d'Ivoire for several years already. It’s within this framework that we have come here to meet with Congolese authorities and with President Kabila in particular, to see how we can bring our contribution to the development of this beautiful and great country.

DCI: For this purpose, why did you choose the DRC and how did you like the business climate?

ADM
:
Firstly, the DRC is an attractive country, when don’t like to get out of the country after getting in. In addition, I have seen a country with enormous potential and with a minimum which already allows it to sloping up in development and to fight poverty.
We believe that all the conditions are gathered for economic take-off.
